LICENSING
A license is required for the commercial use of any aspects
of the Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes (DJSI); i.e., for
using the indexes as a benchmark or as the bases for financial
products and funds of any sort. Unauthorized use of the DJSI
will be policed and dealt with appropriately.

CURRENT LICENSEES
Since the launch of the DJSI over 60 licenses have been issued
to financial institutions in 19 countries. These licensees
have created a variety of index based financial products including
ETFs, active and passive funds, equity baskets and warrants. In
total, the assets managed in these portfolios now stand at
over 8 billion USD.
