was published on 4 August 2010.

based on sustainability scores.
- The base date for the DJSI Europe 40 and DJSI Eurozone 40 is 28 September 2001. The corresponding value is
1000.
- The DJSI Europe 40 and DJSI Eurozone 40 are reviewed
annually.
- The annual reviews of the DJSI Europe 40 and DJSI Eurozone 40 are based on the
annual review of the DJSI Europe.
- The Dow Jones Sustainability Europe 40 Index (DJSI Europe 40)
and Dow Jones Sustainability Eurozone 40 Index (DJSI Eurozone 40) comprise the leading companies in terms of sustainability
from Europe and the Eurozone. For both of these indexes
there is a composite and a specialized index available with
the latter excluding companies that generate revenue from
alcohol, tobacco, gambling, armaments & firearms and adult entertainment. This
set of indexes was published on 4 August 2010.
- The annual review methodology selects these leading sustainability
companies from the investable stocks universe. The resulting
changes to the index composition are announced on the annual
review date at the beginning of September and implemented
- after the official closing prices have been determined
- on the third Friday of September.
